A specially formulated high quality, ready for use aqueous based white printing paste .

  • high opacity and covering power at full strength.
  • stable when cutting with most print pastes.
  • maintains a high degree of opacity when 'cut'.
  • simple to use.
  • good stability and runnability.
  • good all round fastness.
  • relatively low free formaldehyde levels.

The product has been specially formulated to give optimum opacity and fastness as supplied for producing high covering matt white prints on dark dyed materials and to be stable in viscosity when ' cut ' with most aqueous based printing pastes for semi opaque or tonal effects.

PP Suprafast White 610 SUp to 1000
Print Paste100 – 700(optional)
PP Activator AC030820 – 10(optional)
PP Humectant ZXM20 – 10(optional)
PP Pigment Dispersion0 – 50(optional)
For full strength whites it is advisable to pre mix the product for a few minutes as such compounds may tend to structure on storage. Any additions must be added to the white under a high speed mixer (preferably without the introduction of air).
PP Activator AC0308 (or alternatively, low formaldehyde types) can be added if desired to give enhanced wash durability, for example when used alongside dyes, or for goods which require repeated laundering.
The runnability of the system should give optimal performance without further modification, however, dependent upon the customer's application conditions, flow may be improved by an addition of PP Humectant ZXM or Glycerine.
To reduce viscosity, water may be used up to a maximum of 5%. To increase viscosity the addition of up to 1% of PP Thickener PHS may be used.
For semi opaque or tonal effects the addition of print paste may be made. It should be added to the PP Suprafast White 610S under a high speed mixer, for several minutes until well dispersed. The concentration of print paste to be used will depend on the desired effect, generally the lower the white concentration the lower the opacity.
Aqueous Pigment Dispersions may be added for coloured effects.
Printing Recommendations

The choice of screen mesh or engraving depth should be selected relative to the desired effect.

After printing and drying the goods should be given a dry heat curing treatment at 150ºC - 4 minutes to 180ºC - 1 minute.
Due to the high binder reactivity of PP Suprafast White 610S the shelf life stability may be limited after addition of crosslinker.
